Being offered a contract job for 1 year at 35.00 an hour. No benefits, no paid sick time. Thoughts?

Australia onsite offer from a company for my cousin. Tenure is 2 years
Package is 7000 AUD per month
Work location is Sydney
Is this enough for a couple to live there?
Can we save some money?
What is the cost of living there? How about tax?
Assume like everything they have to buy in Australia from scratch

Went in to check compare sizes for an Aqua Terra (green dial) but now torn between that and Moonwatch Sapphire (manual wind but the case in the back is just 😍)

Tl/Dr. If you couldn't get hired as a cloud engineer or cloud consultant - you probably can't become a PM

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.

If i haven’t signed anything with my firm regarding repaying them for receiving my series 7 license with them I’m assuming i owe nothing if i leave? Is there a way to find out without my manager knowing I’m looking at other firms?
