Black History Month is right around the corner. I haven’t seen as many campaigns in the pipeline as in recent years in terms of numbers, but I have seen more thoughtful ones in terms of strategy and messaging. I was wondering what the view is like in other sectors of the industry, and what marketing might look like compared to previous years.

I’m currently an LLC and looking to assemble an equity deal with an advisor. I don’t know how to set it up with him where he gets his equity in the future when we restructure the entity to a c/s Corp and give out his shares. It doesn’t make sense for us to switch now and get double taxed when we haven’t lifted off the ground. This is pre launch. Any advice?

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments.
