Hi all! I just completed my master's in nursing with an emphasis in public health. I have clinical experience in ICU, PCU, telemetry, med/surg, OB, mother/baby and most recently utilization review and provider appeals. I have a strong skills in auditing and QM/QI with PM experience in implementing order protocols and treatment bundles. I am looking to transition into public health nursing and am open to any variety of specialties with that subset. Please let me know of any opportunities!

Advice on how can I take a bit of leave to work in mental health and still be protected employment-wise? Where do I even start? What do I even say? I work at a small firm. I think I have some ptsd from what turned out to be an abusive relationship with my then boss, who no longer works at the firm. For context: I’ve been a startup founder and ran a small fitness studio (my passion). I had to close them down due to COVID. Then I got a job at a local Accelerator to pay my bills.
