Bloomz or Class Dojo?? Pros and cons please!

I love class dojo. I don’t use it for the points (you can disable that feature). I use it for parent communication and to send out classroom reminders. I post my newsletter on the classroom stories. I message parents (and vice versa) and it’s toolkit feature makes it fun for the kids when it’s time to group them together! It has music, and so many more other features. It is an essential in my classroom.
I think Bloomz and Dojo are similar, but Bloomz has the scheduling feature and I love that for scheduling conferences and classroom volunteers, and having parents volunteer to send donations and supplies.
My sister hated when her son's teacher used Dojo because she would constantly get notices at work about behaviors. She said the negative behaviors made her wonder about the teacher and she would call the school to see what was going on.
#keep it positive... and call the parent if there is a concern rather than worry them all day.
On another note, when you give points for things be careful who doesn't get praise. Students can get very upset if you put them on blast in front of the class.
