Working at MBB with really good feedback so far and I think have a good chance of getting promoted and would make almost double my salary . But I’m burnt out and my health both physical and mental is a wreck due to the stress and lack of WLb. I may have a chance at exiting into a strategy role in tech but would I be crazy to do that in this current macro environment? I am definitely done with consulting but I feel like I’ll get burned if I leave into tech right now.

Planning a Northern Italy trip in September and will have 10 days to explore, flying in and out of Milan. Was thinking Dolomites -> Lake Como (we’ve already been to Venice and Florence and do not feel the need to go again). Has anyone done something similar? Do we need to rent a car or can we comfortably rely on trains? Do you have any specific town recommendations within those two areas? Thank you!!

Workload related to STEM- I took over a Middle School science position in January, as the former teacher retired mid-year. The workload is 6 STEM classes a week, which I was told I could float, 6 Earth Science classes for two groups of 6th graders, about 10-12 students each, and 12 Physical Science classes, 1/2 grade 7 and 1/2 grade 8, about 13-14 students in each of the 4 classes. No curriculum, ancient textbooks with no answer keys. Doesn’t this sound like a job for at least 1.5 FTEs?
