I got offer in Infosys for 6.7 Lpa (55% on my Current CTC).

Recently, I got promotion and hike as well. So now the offer @Infosys is merely 34% of my revised salary.

Is it good Idea to renegotiate the salary? How to approach?

First year lit associate here. I had a tough time deciding between corporate and lit and chose lit because I wanted to litigate. Its only been a few months but I’m not enjoying the people or the work as it turns out (too many internal investigations and researching obscure issues, haven’t been on a single filed case yet). My monthly salary is around $6.4k after-tax. Living in NYC. Do you think it’s reasonable that I pay:
- about $1.5k on rent

- about $900 on student loan
