Hello! Will be receiving a $400 stipend from my new org for office setup. I currently have a 15” 2015 Pro, my husband has a Lenovo, I’ll be provided with a work laptop, we have a used office desk.

Any recommendations on what I should use the stipend for? Hubby was suggesting a printer because we don’t currently have one, but I feel like I don’t really print that much anymore and I’ll be working remotely.

Can anyone give me their honest opinion on working at Eli Lilly, the Indy site? I have a few coworkers that have worked there in the past but no one recently. I’m a PE ops VP at a larger fund. Currently making $350k cash comp with about $1M carry at work per fund. Realistically, what would I be looking at in terms of cash/carry comp increase if I were to be promoted up one level (one below partner).

Need some expert advice: (1) what are the exit opportunities for VC associates? (2) More precisely will a 2 years experience in this role be helpful to get into PE/IB? (3) If not, what are some recommendations to bridge the gap?

I’m on the consulting side (FDD) and I’m curious if there are PE firms with good WLB. I’m happy with my pay, growth, and hours. PE interests me but I don’t understand why anyone would want to consistently work 65+ hours a week every week. What’s the appeal? Making double the pay? What’s the exit plan?
