ADVICE NEEDED: I currently work in a WFH recruiter role with an amazing manager, she listens and is very motivating. My job is very very slow pace and a bit repetitive. I got a job offer for 10k more plus a bonus structure but it is hybrid and travel is required. I do not know whether or not I want to leave my cushion WFH job, I got so used to my routine and not doing much. Also, I like traveling to visit family for the holidays which I can do with my current role.

What kind of exit opportunities are there if you can't see yourself sitting at the same desk everyday but never want to deal with 404 ever again. I genuinely like substantive work and love accounting.

Obviously in the motive here to join would be a higher base salary.

Ive taken on a new role in integrated production. I'm now responsible for producing all different types of work - some of which I have little experience with. I'm struggling to gather common acceptable budgets for common programs across experiential, film, influencers, etc. Partners never want to give a rate card but it's hard for me to give teams a real expectation for what's possible. How much time do you give an associate? We are a very small firm and hired an associate about 3 months ago. After law school he worked a non legal position for an insurance industry start-up for about 3 years. We are a corporate law firm. He is just not grasping things, even some pretty remedial concepts. We do have weekly mentoring meetings and try to provide contextual feedback daily, but he is just not progressing. How long before we should put him on some type of PIP or just let him go?

Got an offer for a L7 role at Goog, tc is 800 annual ( base, stocks, and bonuses). Torn between taking the role and joining Google or staying at the Firm and making partner this year or next at the latest.
