Microsoft Received some feedback yesterday that I’m “Too smart for the role and they feared that I’d get bored and leave quickly. “ It’s honestly the most confused I’ve ever left a call. Does anyone know what this means? I thought it was a compliment initially but in retrospect it just doesn’t seem very genuine. Have y’all had anyone hit you with this one?

I can’t tell any convincing response. But what I can suggest is to recall all the problems you faced in the past at work and document how you solved it. This is where a brag document comes in where you regularly document things that you are proud of so that when the time comes for interviews or updating resume, you have substantial anecdotes to work with.
