Can I apply for remote jobs to the USA from India. In that case what should we answer to the questions below.
Work Authorization
Are you legally authorised to work in the US (yes or no)
I think we should be selecting no but will they process my application if I select no.
Also will you require any kind of visa in future (yes or no)
What should we answer to this.
I am currently in India and want to work for a US based form and earn dollars in India only . Please help.

The only way that I am aware of that you can do this is freelancing. There is a basic misconception about work from home / remote work. It actually means that you can work out of any location within the same geographical region, meaning anywhere in US for a US payroll or anywhere in India for Indian payroll. Cross border is not allowed because if they want to enroll you as a permanent employee then you need to have a social security number, bank account and other documents in US, which cannot be generated if you do not have valid visa to stay in the country.

So freelancers aren't hired like this as far as I know these questions and most jobs posted on LinkedIn are for those authorized to work in the US. Even the remote roles.

As simple as, if you have work permit of that country then you can apply for the job otherwise you can't apply if they are seeking a work permit. Seems they are not allowing international workers to apply for that job and it's open for candidates who have work permit or who are residing in USA.

I heard from my head that there is a lot of slowdown in VW Germany... There is Hiring freeze, level freeze and all ... And soon that will spillover to india. So be prepared for very less hikes in coming cycle :( Also automotive sector in general is struggling with tesla laying off 10% workforce recently. Maybe time to make a move? What do you say fishes?

Is it ok to switch for 3 laks rs hike ( 8.5 to 11.5) from one big4 to other consulting in only 7 months of tenure. (Only money factor to consider in scenerio)

Also consider the factor that in 90 days period this amount can get increased .
