Is it a bad sign if the company that typically moves fast (as said by former interviewees) is taking a long time to tell you whether or not you move forward to the next round in an interview?

I have not heard for a long time so wanted to check.

Had an interview today which went so bad that I feel that I don't even deserve to be in the company I am in. Why would someone pay for a person who couldn't solve a simple program!

During Bosch HR round, I've conveyed my salary expectations. The HR for once, didn't argue the figure quoted. Instead just said, that the offer would be released post approval from business head.

Now, I've filled in firststeps portal details as well. When should I expect the offer to be released? And how frequently should i follow up with the recruiter?
Also, does not countering my demands of requisite salary mean that they'll provide the figure I've asked for?. Kindly suggest.

Last year when Covid broke, I received a couple of interview calls but ignored them as I felt the organization kept me at work when other companies cut short their HR staff so I should be with them even if with no appraisal. But now, I was living in the fool's paradise when I am told to leave with no job offers in hand, car and home loan, dependent parents, expecting jobless spouse with a 3-year old kid.

I have just joined an organization and agreed for night shift. I thought I could manage it as I have done it earlier.
I realized that it wouldn't suit now as ! see a lot of backlash from my 2yrs old boy. I have a feeling that it might have a wrong impact on him. I don't want to continue this timings now. How long does it take for you all to commute to work normally? I am moving to Woking soon and am looking to land a consulting gig in London. It will take me 10-20 min to get to the train station, and from then on the train to Waterloo takes 30 mins. Not sure if that’s going to be too long a daily commute by UK standard?

I just started my first day at a startup (on the executive team) but a new friend of mine wants to utilize me as a part-time portfolio manager/financial advisor given my entrepreneurial, VC, & operational background. His holdings are $10m+ and mostly in real estate but he wants to get more involved in tech investing. I have a background in both and it won’t violate my obligations. What terms should I offer him? Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?
