How much is the pay for data roles in the UK? I'm a data analyst with 2 years of experience and a Masters degree in Data Analysis. I have a decent project portfolio in data science. I'm experienced in SQL, Power BI, Excel and Python. I'm eager to land a data analyst or data science role. One of the companies offered me 36K. Is this fair? If not what should I aim for? When you receive multiple offers. Will you accept offer and then send email that you are not going to join that firm. Or when you receive the offer then only you will reject it by saying you have better role in other company and will not be joining you.

I received an offer today, they are asking me to accept the offer. But I am not sure whether I will be joining them or not.

What should I do?

Appraisal or hike is calculated on CTC or FIXED component?
If CTC is 10 LPA(Fixed + Variable) and one gets 5 pcnt hike. Will it become 10.5 LPA?
