People are dumber than you think

I like to remind anyone who disagrees that people had to be educated not to eat Tide pods.

The best lesson I've learned from working in the retail industry is to always be prepared for the unexpected. Whether it's a sudden rush of customers or a broken machine, you need to be able to adapt quickly and solve problems as they come up.

like

Always be kind to people, because you never know what life can give back to you. I am a firm believer in karma, and I live my life always thinking that if I do right by others, then life as a whole will do right by me. It gives me a feeling that what I'm doing everyday has a bigger impact that goes beyond me.

like

To always be customer-oriented. No matter how busy I am or how many tasks I have to complete, I always make sure to take the time to greet customers, ask them how they are doing, and help them find what they need. It's important to always be friendly and helpful, because the customer always comes first.

like

Some people thrive on misery and they'll create it with you at the center no matter what you do to help.

Either be a privileged person or shut up and keep doing what you have been told.

Hello! I work in change management and am assigned to an IT POM transformation. I’m still in my fact finding/change readiness analysis phase, but struggling with the senior leadership team. Does anyone have any lesson learned or best practices in eliciting feed back from senior leaders? think SVP and above? I thought about focus groups, but their time is limited. Also, survey response rate tends to be low for these guys. Any ideas???

Hi! Can someone recommend a source for learning how do simple, fun music lessons on Zoom? I teach first grade and use music for my transitions. Hi All! I recently started my own Private Equity firm. Searching for any big do’s, dont’s, or hard lessons you learned along the way. Do any veteran entrepreneurs/PE partners or staff members have advice they would like to pass down? I know early on in my consulting career there are many things I wish I could go back and tell myself.

As always, thank you all! 🐟

To fellow Agency Producers. how often are you doing print producing, as well as video production? My agency doesn’t have a print producer in house, and I am finding myself doing that job + the normal video production of campaigns we continually do. I feel over worked and underpaid. Any advice or thoughts?

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us.
