TCS can match it but your manager may ask you to appear for Wings DCA evaluation. After clearing the DCA evaluation you can ask the 50-100% hike.
You can also take the promotion on top of it.
Just sharing because it happened with me.
If we get C or D band then hike will go off rite
It depends on the tech stack and demand you have for your position in tcs. I was a data scientist and they were not getting a replacement for me while I was leaving the company, they offered me 100% hike and Onsite. However I didn’t take it though as I had an offer of 200%. But I’ve heard recently that tcs is giving more than 50% hike for associates that are leaving, so it’s worth a try, be firm on your stand.
no
😂😂😂😂
Never
Never do this
What you should be looking at is the work opportunity at your new firm. Can TCS really match that? If yes, then fight for the hike.
Designation?
What is your yoe! Depends on that
They can't, it's not in hand of your manager.
HR will ask all details from you, will make it look like that corporate will make a good counter offer and finally propose a 20-30% hike in variables.
FYI- For this too, they will evaluate you.
It's a TRAP, nothing else.
TCS never give hike to retain employee. It's their HR policy. Only on-site. If you like to go on-site then take it
No, It's changed now
Mostly they offer a onetime additional as a short term solution and that you have to pay back if you resign again within so many months. And everything else as future and everyone forgets about on-site and any other after few months. This is called great game of HR
Never 🤣🤣🤣
It depends on your current CTC, YOE and tech stack. If you are from cloud computing and underpaid certainly you will get 50% but as a DCA. Many peoples are getting that hike
Just 1 suggestion to author - if you are C3A and below then things are happening under the table. Go and check with your manager and GL.
Do you know any such incident?
