Can someone explain to me why companies who hire consultants agree to pay for the consultants to fly first class / stay in five star hotels / etc? Not meant in a hateful way but I’m genuinely curious who wants to hire consultants who make $200k entry level (400k billed to the company) plus $50,000 in travel expenses.
