I’m a Marketing Manager at a startup/small biz and considering an offer as a Marketing Analyst at Mastercard. Has anyone heard anything about working in marketing there (or working there in general?) Curious about WLB, culture, promotion trajectory, flexibility, etc. Also curious what others think of the salary (95k base) for someone in my position (2-3 years experience)?

Yes fixed CTC is more important than onshore opportunity with uncertain time period. Also fixed CTC will help you get a better hike in the future
I have total of 5 years of experience and have offer from TCS with 10.5 LPA as IT analyst C2. Is the CTC fine as per the standards? Or look for another offer? Or shall I join TCS and get yearly appraisals later on?

I suggest if existing company is giving 6 months or more onsite, you should stay. When you are in Canada, you will get Indian salary as well as good money in Canada as well. You wil have good money after 6 months when you are back. And based in onsite experience, you may get good opportunities in market as well.
You have 70 days left. I would suggest look for better offer, probably from a product based organisation. Based on your experience you can easily cross 20.
Offer from Infosys seems a better option.
And you can try to get more offers during notice period.
Many companies offer on site opportunity to retain the employee but sometimes, they are just lying to retain the employee. If you are sure that everything will go through without any problem then only trust them.

I guess the best option is you ask your company to provide on-site within 2 months itself. Say I wouldn’t rescind resignation unless I get the on-site visa. If they couldn’t provide that within your notice period, you join the other company

Ask your current employer to put the offer in ink and get it legitimise, and ask for 6months+ of onsite, I am sure your manager will take back his words, anyways still search for some better offers as you will change the org after 1.5-2 yrs which means u ll still be withing 20Lpa after 7.5 yrs of exp.

I think onsite carrot is something the project management uses to get extension for more 6-7 months apart from the already 3 months NP. In this way, they will exploit you for more time.
