@Accenture sharks: I am currently in the process of interviewing for a Consultant role in Finance Transformation in NYC. What should I negotiate for in terms of salary? Any other advice on the interview process? Honestly, from how much I make right now, it feels wrong to negotiate up to an increase of more than double.
Anyone sign a prenup? Pros vs Cons experienced and was it worth it. Wife to be makes 1/2 salary as me but is 3 years younger and a hard worker.

In a world of remote consulting work…. How long can the US maintain its high premium over European and, esp. developing market consulting? Both price tag to clients and significantly higher salaries for the people. I imagine may move faster at Big 4, etc. than MBB, but within MBB the huge cost and salary differentials feel… increasingly hard to maintain (even though I think the differential has actually gotten bigger, not smaller in the last two years). Thoughts?

Lolz is it bad that I almost want to get let go from my job cause I’m so tired of working. 60+ hours scheduled for the rest of the summer with more hours planned on getting tacked on. Honestly not sure if I’m also salty cause no salary increase, or if this is just how PA works.
Feeling torn. I enjoy the team that I work with and have a relatively good work-life balance. However, my compensation is below industry standard, and I don’t want to be with a technology implementation-focused firm in the long term (strategy projects are few and far between). Our nanny takes my 7 month old out for one, sometimes 2, long walks every day (weather permitting). Love the idea of fresh air every day but its often for several hours at a time and he always returns home crying bc she's pushed him to his limit between feedings. She brushes it off saying hes just fussy which kind of irks me. Im also concerned that he's spending too much time strapped in a stroller. Is it reasonable to ask her to take shorter walks? Am I overreacting?

Just got an offer at ACN as a Strategy Manager and HR made it clear that parental leave was 2 weeks fully paid for men. Theoretically up until 12 weeks is covered by NY State ($900 weekly). What would you do? Have you seen men take a few months off for parental leave in consulting even if unpaid?
