I have been working in digital/social marketing for 2.5 yrs now and currently I am drawing 7 LPA.

Is your firm monitoring attendance? Today we got scolded like children at school for not coming in 3x a week as required by the new firm policy.

I have a law student shadowing me tomorrow. Do I just have her watch as I answer emails, draft MSJ, etc ?

How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I feel like it’s reasonable to not kill myself further to fit in more/turn things around faster at this point, but am I being unreasonable? I expect my workload to remain at this level through the end of the year at least.

When do you think associates are usually let go in small practice groups that are currently being overwhelmed with work? Is it when it starts to slows down or when they already have a candidate to replace you? Just trying to figure out how long I have after annoying a partner 😂.

Today I had my 2nd round interview with EY GDS and got rejected.
Do I need to worry about this and feel low?
Could EY GDS would have been better instead of OFSS?

Hi fishes, I recently joined Accenture, I am from manual testing background and they put me into monitoring team where we need to analyse errors looking at codes, logs and resolve it and the KT that is being given to me doesnt feel enough when I raised concern to TL, TL itself is blaming it on me that I qm not able to understand what is being taught, I am not able to work in the project at all, I requested for roll off within a month, will this imact my career at accenture? someone please sugges

I have a clerkship with a bankruptcy judge in a major jurisdiction beginning in September. If I stopped working in April, is that too early or can I stop whenever? Explain to me like I’m 5. Why does the monthly billable hours goal on things like Intellistat change month to month. I’m not hitting hours this year. Last month goal was 158. This months goal is 180.

Random partner asked a litigation-related question to a partner I frequently work with (i’m a transactional associate). My partner cc’d me and said for me to briefly look. Asked the library. They got me a great case. Sent it back. Now the random partner is asking for more cases in another circuit.
