Well, I was on an onboarding call and they were talking about staffing and projects. The presenter said to reach out to them if you don’t think your project is a good fit. In his words “you were hired into the firm, not a specific project. We see you here long term... With the exception of PDM model” 😅

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.

It's day 2 for me at Deloitte (PDM) , just received my laptop yesterday , completed a few of the trainings and created/uploaded my resume. Coach and onboarding advisor have not been assigned yet. When do I get assigned to a project? What does that process look like ? How long does this orientation go on for ? And do I have to transfer all my stocks from robinhood to one of their approved brokerages?

Is PDM ever going to be less crappy?

My project client location in Denver started in person mandatory days. Few of colleagues started to go there. I’m confused as I was hired as PDM and I live in east coast and project is in west coast. In the last PDM town hall, they said they were going to lower utilization targets for those that work on projects with capped hours. For those people, have you seen your utilization target lowered? I haven’t seen shit change for me.
