Is Director level within A&M equivalent to SM1/2 at Big4? Also, I have been told by A&M recruiter that I need to meet 2 more MDs as part of the interview process and I have already met 3 Senior Directors. Any idea what can I expect in my final two interviews and will there be any more rounds?

How many candidates are being interviewed for a position at once? I know it probably varies but on my team it seems like maybe 3-5 candidates. Tough time getting past final step: I’ve been trying to make a career shift for 10 months now and continue to get rejected at the last step. Im confident in the value I can provide and do well at presenting it. However, once it’s comes down to me and 1-2 other candidates, I repeatedly have been turned down for the person who has more relevant experience as they’re a safer bet for the employer. Can anyone share what happens in this fitment round on interview?
HRs have asked to submit documents even before this fitment round; which seems unusual. Is this normal for UBS and this is how they progress?

Shouldn't recruiter phone screens just be about nuts and bolts like salary, availability, etc? I'm always a little puzzled on the occasions when a recruiter asks me to lay out my creative process for them. Why am I explaining how to make ads to a recruiter?

I have a in person(online, 4 hours - 4 people) technical interview coming up and I have been practicing my coding for the past 3 weeks. The only thought I've been having is "what if I can't solve the coding question?" I am still fairly new to the software engineer scene and the position is for a level 1 software engineer.
Does it essentially end my chances if at any point I can't solve the question? I mean I will definitely attempt to talk it through, ask question, but no progress in code. 🤷
