Favorite creative from a black-owned brand?

Yes! Here are some of my favorite resilient and creative black-owned marketing agencies: 1) Foote Communications; 2) EraBright; 3) 360i because they have fun clients; and 4) Burrell because they have an impressive client list. Good luck in your job search!
360i is not black owned or led, it's owned by dentsu
I'd say depending on how successful you want to be in this industry, find a decent shop. Don't have Black owned be your main criteria.
Lots of these shops are far from top performing shops and they don't necessarily have the best environments.
In terms of Black owned and quality, translation, majority and Cartwright stand out. Same advice applies, talk to them with your eyes wide open.
Excellent advice. It’s a tough industry so I understand wanting to go to a more inviting / inclusive culture …..
I am quite seasoned so things may have changed. I was working on an account (at a GM agency) with a Black-owned agency partner (think it was Burrell). I was a jr interested in working there and a Sr exec told me directly to stay where I was so that I would not get pigeonholed and that most there were trying to get to GM agencies, but couldn’t.
Later I worked at a Black-owned agency ✊🏾 that is known for notoriously closing abruptly 🙄…. Going in with your eyes wide open is great advice.
Also recommend checking out OnlineDrea: love them for their social inclusivity brand focus and Brazen Marketer for their focus on small businesses/non profits. Both are black owned too!

Consider Ten35 and Fluent360 as well!
