Haha maybe I’m overthinking, or maybe a little too bored during mass. I remember sitting in the pews during a wedding and staring at some scratched up bottoms, just thought it could be a better look
You can go to a shoe repair person and they can sand and paint the bottoms of any shoe, while also applying a coat that will help with future scratches and damages.
I did this for my Louboutins and the repairman said that I should get this coating applied for future shows to prevent scratches.

Ahh ok. What about doing the tradition where the groom writes a message on your shoe and you on his? The message likely won’t be visible to the guests but they might realize that’s why the bottom is dark?
