Can we request the previous employer to give experience/relieving letter from where you have already gotten a termination letter?

Went in to check compare sizes for an Aqua Terra (green dial) but now torn between that and Moonwatch Sapphire (manual wind but the case in the back is just 😍)

Surprisingly the Moonwatch felt smaller (even though it’s 42mm vs 41mm Aqua terra) but I’m not sure about the manual wind tbh - worried I’d break it
