Car Tire gurus - Yokohama Avid Ascend GT vs LX. I live in CO so winter capability is important, but with a Subaru Outback the car already is well equipped.

Question is whether or not the GT is that much better in the snow that it is worth foregoing an extra 20,000 miles potential tread life with the LX.

I’m having a super hard time finding a job in pharma R&D, all the jobs available seem to be analytical - I have 4 years experience working in a lab (3yrs at a CRO & 1yr working as an associate scientist on a drug product development team). I got an offer for a senior research associate ($60k) but I currently am an associate scientist in MD making $75k. Do R&D pharma jobs exist in the Denver/Boulder area?
