I would just like to take this time to tell everyone that no matter what your role is, or who you work for.. that we work to live, we don't live to work.

I understand that statement has some degree of privilege.

However when things are all said and done, a lot of us won't be worried about the extra dollars we made or an additional title we got, but what we were able to do with the time we had.

Life can throw random ball curves when we are trying to progress and lately I just been hearing “If it’s meant to be then it will be” and that’s been putting me at ease lately as a reminder.

Some of the white generational wealth I've seen as a financial advisor is actually scary. It's laughable that we expect people without that privilege to ever achieve success in the same ways and to the same degree. Chances are even if you do, you'll have had to work harder in your life than they ever have. Lowkey kind of makes me sick to my stomach.
