Going through with it now. Just split it equally with standard vesting - 25% after 1 year, incremental monthly and 100% at 4 years. That is assuming all the founders are putting in the same work. Don't be the party pooper who says "I had the idea" or "I created the MVP". You should consider that you are creating something which if successful will hold true for 10 years or for the rest of your life. You are splitting over future value and your future company will look nothing like the current. If you are not putting in the same amount of work, use online tools to determine value creation and that's a much more difficult conversation.

Ended up just renting a nice lodge in the mountains, refusing to leave until it was done. Consider things like a 1 year cliff, i.e. If you leave before a year you get nothing. Definitely have a vesting schedule. Also, consider setting aside equity for new hires from your original pool now.
Thanks for your inputs thus far @k & @atk, given there is no current startup capital besides our own money, setting aside equity for new hires will be considered once we do acquire funding.

Not going to lie. This was a stressful topic to even research and consider. I had heart palpitations as it's my first one. Vesting is a must, but still trying to figure out what the value proposition is from his perspective as it's just been bouncing ideas off each other.
