I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Journalism is the best job in the world but I feel like people are less likely to take my work seriously because I am female.
