The station I work at is down at least 15 positions. Some jobs have been open for two years.

The remaining staff is required to step up.

Additional positions are opening up as contracts are either broken or expire.

How are people able to keep their mental health up when their station isn’t hiring people they need and refuse to pay living wages to potential prospects or promote those remaining?

I got an offer at Meta as a 3-mo contingent CSM that pays 2x what I make now.

Two pros: 1) Making the jump from a non-tech agency role to FAANG can be tough, so this is a great oppo in that aspect.
2) I'm living in SF on a non-tech salary, so the pay increase would be incredible.

It’s possible I could move into a similar role @ Meta once this expires, but to be safe, I'd need to start the job hunt again asap.

Thoughts on the pivot & how valuable a short-stint at Meta is for future job hunt?

I have been working remotely since covid getting nothing but positive reviews. My company is not remote friendly and is now telling me I have to return to the office or I lose my job. I just found out a co-worker had a remote position created for them, without a job posting, without an interview and without the experience required (normally a license or certification would be mandatory). I think if I get an offer in India for around 32-35 LPA, i should prefer staying in India but I need 1-2 months of time to be in that position.
