Does anyone have any advice of keeping track and staying on top of all your medications and supplements? Before TTC I would maybe take a vitamin once in a while. Now I’m on everything under the sun.

Prescribed:
- Levothyroxine
- Clomid (days 3-7)
- Progesterone (2dpo-13dpo 2x daily)

Doctor recommended:
- Prenatal
- Aspirin
- Vitamin D - 4000 IU
- Omega 3 fish oil - 1000mg x 2
- Inositol (myo/chiro) - 1-2000 x 2

Self researched:
- Red raspberry leaf tea
- Ashwagandha

Set an alarm on your phone, have a container that separates your pills into days and AM/PM. I’m also a paper person so I mark on my calendar once I’ve taken anything I needed to do the day.

There’s little evidence that omega 3 fish oil supplements are actually helpful. Rather, it is evidenced that eating low mercury fish will achieve those benefits. I would add ubiquinol for egg quality instead of inositol.

Red raspberry leaf tea is only to induce labor at the end of a pregnancy. I wouldn’t take ashwagandha because I’m weary of herbs.

There’s actually little evidence too that ubiquinol has any benefit for egg quality. No studies have actually found an increase in the live birth rate. Also, it’s not regulated so you don’t know what you’re actually taking, it’s just as bad as herbs!

My doctor is only recommending aspirin, Vitamin D and a prenatal.

Ok

It’s funny how the first 2 posters provided an opinion on everything but what the OP asked for.

OP, I agree with the commenter above that alarms and calendar reminders work for me too. I manage my entire life off my calendar and putting reminders there is most helpful. I also have pill boxes by the time of the day, so I know which one to pick up when. Also, if you are super mindful of your process and time for 2-3 weeks, it will become like second nature and you will not be forgetting it too much.

For anyone dissing herbs, please read about ayurveda and the history of medicine.

I use Microsoft To Do to run my life. I would have alarms throughout the day and each dose in a checklist, and check them off as you take them.

I also liked to count out my medications weekly (i felt it was too much to do daily) to make it easier to track.

I agree with D1, not our place to judge. My two cents tho, I also took lots of supplements and changed my diet/lifestyle considerably while ttc. Every thing we can do to contribute helps.

It blows my mind that many countries won’t be able to vaccinate most of their people until 2023. There should be access to vaccine generics

Good evening all,
With my partner we are considering making a move to the countryside of Switzerland, with a gorgeous RE project offering incredible views on immaculate mountains and lake. However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then. Any similar experience to share?

I worked with CVS Caremark directly and got approval in 2 days (not the expected 3 weeks). Moral of the story: ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF!

Starting with our very first IVF cycle this week and kinda nervous 🤞
Nurse says retrieval to happen tentatively around 18th Dec but then transfer can take place in early February too considering genetic testing takes weeks. Is this the norm? Just fearing the team is not unnecessarily delaying things owing to holiday break.
