Maybe in like 20 years. I use my wallet daily.
I would never go anywhere without my wallet. I use apple pay a ton but I also like having my physical cards. What if my phone dies? we can’t entirely rely on technology and there will always be things we need physical copies of
This is why I also carry around my Rolodex as I certainly haven’t memorized anyone’s phone numbers.
I still need my driver’s license or some form of ID, retail membership cards, health insurance card…I don’t anticipate retiring my wallet permanently anytime soon. I use Apple pay more for online shopping on my phone to get around typing in my CC details on a small screen.
I still like having them because of ID and cash. Although I use ApplePay most of the time, I anticipate carrying debit card with me for some years, especially living in a big city and traveling to cash-based places.
Haven’t carried a wallet in years. Just put 2 cards, drivers licence and ID at the back of the phone case. Could never go back.
I always carry my ID, a physical debit card and a physical credit card. ID for obvious reasons, credit card in case I need to make a large emergency payment (flight or hotel etc.) and a debit card in case I need cash.
Phones die, glitch or can be stolen, and then what? I say this from the perspective of a woman who is always thinking about safety when out and about.
I always carry a SLG with my ID and a credit card incase my phone every dies or is stolen.
