Hi everyone. A PDM specialist here. Joined Deloitte 5+ years back as ‘Senior Solution Engineer -On-site’.Later in June 2017 all these ‘on-site’ folks got rebranded as PDM. Slowly started to realize how PDM is getting sidelined as a ‘discountable’ group. Sometimes I feel contract jobs are better than being at PDM , but obviously tied up with D for visa related issues. No career progression so far and don’t see any positive changes in the near future as well.I think it’s high time to call it a day.

I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. For anyone that is interested, the Celsius first bankruptcy hearing is going on now and will likely have repercussions and could set precedents across other similar cases. These are the key considerations, at least a few of which IMO are absolutely reprehensible.
It does sound at least like the judge and Kirkland (lawyers) are leaning towards ruling in favor of the folks with custody accounts.

Hi McBee! First, if you are the meme-master McBee then keep up the meme game and bring your new firm some fame.
Ok, real advice: you don’t control
Your promotion so don’t focus on it. Focus on the things you do control that others use when making promotion decisions. And what you need to control is outcomes. Specifically, the outcomes you want to create are:
1. Clients so happy they want to buy more
2. Team members who feel valued and who feel they are growing in their roles
3. Partners who trust you enough to give you room to do what you do best
Thanks so much!
Haha and no, I'd like to be much more low key moving forward 🤐
Congrats! Focusing on speed can actually become a mental obstacle that holds you back. I'd suggest that you work hard to learn what your new firm does and how they do it, and what the expectations of you are. As you learn, your maturity and experience should help to differentiate you from your peer group. Good luck!
Thank you so much!
