I have worked with bp for 3 years and have been working at JPMC for 6 months. I would any day vouch for bp. My reasons are listed.
1. Hybrid work model in bp(2 days from office in a week and there is a flexibility around that as well) whereas you have to be in office in JP all 5 days a week.
2. BP has limited head count in India as it’s comparatively a new GCC expanding in Pune and Bengaluru. So, growth is fast and visibility is high. In JPMC, growth is slow and limited visibility as some of your leadership would be in US.
3. Good transportation facilities in BP. You have cabs every hour. In JPMC, there are buses on major routes.
4. Work culture is better in bp but this can change team to team so not much to be concerned about.
5. Hikes and Bonuses are far better in BP. In my 3 years, I received more than 15% bonus every year and all hikes were in double digits. In JPMC, hikes are usually in single digit with bonus 10-12% of your CTC.
6. BP has better job security. JPMC you will hear of layoffs and restructuring every other week.
The only difference I see is that in bp, variable pay is part of CTC but in JPMC there is no variable pay concept. Its an annual bonus that is above and over CTC.
BP? Which company is this? DE 3 would be 602 Senior Assoc
It shows as associate only on hr records. People tend to call it senior associate/ assistant vice president etc
How can i reach out to you , to understand the bp interview experience
