There’s a cap you hit around 180-200k ish TC that’s hard to exceed staying a Salesforce developer, unless you find a truly unique opportunity. To exceed that, you’ll need to swap to architecture or management. Before anyone chimes in saying “but I make 220k in SF and have 10 YOE” - I’m talking bell curve here.
The barrier to entry to Salesforce development is low, but I would think hard about what your career goals are and if you are willing to sacrifice the years of experience with C# to make the switch.
Got you. Thank you. This helps.👍🏻

You will want to do App Builder at the same time as PD1, and probably JS the same time you do PD2. App Builder and PD1 are kind of two lenses on the same topic - where point and click ends and where code begins, why and how to do both. JS is going to get you more into the front-end side with lightning components; when it comes to front end tech, PD1/2 is really an overview of everything (including VF) but the JS cert will put you at the "cutting edge" and go deeper for LWC's.
Ok, got you. Thanks. Apex is very similar to C#, so hopefully there won’t be any surprises.
