Currently contracting but just had a perm job offer. My notice period is two weeks contractually but I would like to do a proper hand over and not burn any bridges. I’m also conscious my new employer wants me to start as soon as possible, what’s a reasonable notice period to give to keep both sides happy?

Within my first year of Consulting, really struggling with the hours amongst other things.
