The recruiter mentioned a base pay range of $105-115K, likely closer to $135-145K total compensation. I am considering negotiating for at least a $130K base pay. Unsure whether to push for $120-125K or accept whatever is offered to avoid risking the opportunity or offending the hiring team. Thoughts?

So, this is a little awkward, but I recently moved to SD for a fresh start, and honestly, I love this city. My partner and I are moving out of our condo building in NYC at month end, and the building management (not our landlord) has communicated to us that, on top of the 1K non-refundable fee and 1K security deposit to move out (stated in lease), they are also issuing a $1,250 "sanitization fee" for the public areas (hallways/elevators), since we happen to be moving out during COVID19. We feel this is taking advantage of tenants during this time and may not be legal. Any advice helps!
