I am on bench and have resigned. Before resigning I discussed at skip level so my egoistic manager is asking me to take early release which I don’t want. He said he will talk to HR for my early release.
The company failed to find a suitable role for me & I rejected to accept a support role in other project. I want to serve 90 days of NP as I do not have any offer in hand as of now.
Can they forcefully throw me out of the company? What do I do? What measures should I take & consider?

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

Thoughts? This seems decent based on my research but couldn't find a ton of data points. What is the career trajectory/opportunity like is a Google CE? Late 30’s with a couple of kids. Is it worth it for me to seek a CS degree at this time/soonish? I’m not afraid of the extra work, and would go part time. Wondering if the eventual payoff would worth the effort. Will I level up quicker? Employer has partial tuition reimb.
