Would it be possible to come back to Deloitte US on L1 visa.

The question here is, would it be considered as one year worked outside US with same firm?

I have filed for 485 in July 2022 and hopeful that it’ll get approved before my H1B has to be renewed in May 2025. - OPT ends in late June, so I can stay till mid-late August (grace period).

Question:
Should I just move to London as soon as I'm able to, or is it worth waiting until the end of my OPT in August in case they do a second round of the H1B lottery?

Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?
