My firm also provides $25k of support. We did 2 retrievals, 1 transfer, and we have approximately $500 left.
It really depends on who you choose to go with. I would highly recommend to avoid Kind Body.
I'm not with deloitte, but one of the common recommendations is to pay for your meds out of pocket so that you can use the benefit for the procedures. At my clinic, retrievals cost about $18K and transfers cost about $5K. I had three separate med protocols for three ERs and the microdose lupron flare cycle was cheapest because that medication is one vial versus several for ganirelix/cetrotide. I did my retrievals while with a previous employer that had a 75k limit.
Unfortunately 15k in meds won’t get you far but there are resource available to help with the costs. Some of the meds are sooo expensive for retrieval
I have 25k with Accenture and have used ~12k of my lifetime benefit on 3 egg retrievals and 2 embryo transfers. Genetic testing isn’t covered and medication is a separate benefit (unlimited lifetime coverage). The 25k has stretched further than I thought but you should be able to call your insurance and ask! Although it sometimes takes calling a few times to get the right person to help you
It varies widely by geography and provider. 2 ivf cycles all including (meds, pgt-a, etc) and one successful transfer thus fas and we are 35k in (25 covered by fertility benefits)
1 egg retrieval at my clinic was 7k without the meds (this included about 700 for anesthesia as far as i remember)
1 transfer was 3800 without the meds
Choose a dr with high success rates. They are obligated to report them. That could minimize your retrievals and transfers
