Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

My neighbor stopped parking his in the back alley because everyone took it for a dumpster.

Only because that's what they look like.
Let’s say I’ve never seen anyone in the passenger seat of one, and I understand why. 😂
I like tesla, but those cybertrucks are super ugly.
^ This is exactly what I'm trying to find out with this post.
Vehicles weighing over 6000lbs qualify as a tax write off so it’s not surprising that the majority of owners are also business owners. Similar to the G Wagon.
I had not thought of that. Makes sense
Buying a Tesla will turn you into a serial fornicator like Musk, and giving your children odd names like "X Æ A-12" (he really has a child with this name).
They look stupid and I kind of have to question the judgment of someone that gets one. I don’t know enough people that have one to form a stereotype of a typical owner. I’m kind of hoping they just fade away.

I have a stereotype of them -- they're compensating for having a tiny...
It looks like a dumpster with wheels. So if I had to guess who would buy them, well, I’m going with Oscar the Grouch.
I know a few business owners that have them - I guess a flex of power without the price tag?
Likely a tax break. Anything over a certain weight can be a complete business write-off. Used to be the main reason G-Wagons and Hummers were the d-bag vehicle of choice…replaced by the Cybertruck.
I don't know any owners, but one of my friends rented one and loved it. Nice to drive, and the crazy acceleration was entertaining.
Personally, I appreciate the weird look. Each year, cars/SUVs/crossovers look more and more alike. We've lost the majority of unique cars.
What happened to the Volkswagen Beetle/Bug, the (ugly) PT Cruiser, the square Honda Element, etc?! Why did Buick (Envista) and Dodge (Hornet) recently create the same mediocre hodge podge SUVs?
You can get that same crazy acceleration with most electric cars (I drive a KIA EV6 and LOVE it). Agreed on it being a bummer that unique cars seem to have largely gone the way of the dodo, though...
