Do FAANG recruiters give chance to domain switchers? Eg account management to product management or product marketing if I invest in a suitable crash course to indicate interest and passion?

Does it look bad to lateral to a different big 4 firm if you’re not liking the culture at the one you’re at? Or better to just stick it out if the end goal is to go in-house.

How bad does it look to future employers for an experienced attorney (15+ years) who is pivoting into a different practice area and looking to lateral after only having been at their current/first job for 4-5 months in the new practice area? I've been told by a recruiter that it's not a deal breaker because of my experience level.
