Thanks bro for scaring , i am joining next week 🫠 ..although the people i am joining are working for 5+ years
Who told?here people are working for decades.. joined 3 months back..did not meet anyone with less than 5 years in hsbc..and currently hsbc gtc in hiring mode..
So don't spread unnecessary rumours.. thanks
Even I heard recently that they're planning layoffs in Enterpise Technology, is that true? What would be the criteria for layoffs?
Recently HSBC rejected my candidature due to some blunder I have made during the interview.
I can't comment on hikes, culture or growth as it differs with each project... But we get bonus properly unlike my previous experiences with service based companies... Almost everyone gets a bonus of 1.5x to 3x of monthly salary as far as I have seen
Strange... I am an employee in EDPI and I work with a lot of other teams... So far I haven't come across any of these even if people are on bench... Not sure of vendors though
How do you know if it's hDPI or edpi ? Anywhere is it mentioned ?
Bro you are in wipro why commenting on hsbc ?
I have worked with hsbc in past and my friends who are in hsbc also have same opinion.
It doesn't matter in which company u r currently working.
Some are still working bcoz of their good relations with Sr management.
They were seniors.
I'm talking about people with less than 10 years exp.
Hire and fire on large scale.
And for vendors it is super dangerous. So many were released abruptly since last 1 year.
I know in and out of hsbc.
Yes agree vendors were let go but havent heard of anyone fired in hsbc
These hr people in hsbc take months and years to recruit/find a replacement and so they are very scared to fire anyone... If your post is specific to any particular entity in hsbc which I am unaware of, kindly let me know... No point in generalising
I already mentioned depts like gbm, rbwm, cf.
I really wonder how you people are unaware.
All the best bro for joining the worst company.
BTW I'm not scaring. I hope you get a good team with a good manager and not face hire and fire like others.
The firing of contractors are based on the work there is for the year , and budget for that project
Hopefully not ...i have worked with them for 3+ years already as vendor and going to be working for same team but this time as fte
They are laying off high cost uk employees only as of now
I hope u have a long journey with them and not a short
There were many sacking but only for contractors not for group employees. Analytics almost had 0 effect in India.
Do u hv a vacancy
Come on dude... Why spread unnecessary rumours?! There is a hiring freeze but no is getting fired... How can you lie that there is a large scale hire and fire?! What are you trying to prove?!
I'm nobody to spread rumours. I have seen lay offs in hsbc ,hire and fire is nowadays common.
Maano ya na maano.
Recently, my ex colleague was asked to resign.
Fortunately she got new job offer before she resigned. But she was also v angry as she was an employee since 6 years and this is the treatment she got. Many are being laid off, like 1 or 2 in a team. First are the vendors then the employees.
I heard recently that they're planning layoffs in Enterpise Technology, is that true? What would be the criteria for layoffs?
Hi all, what I know is HSBC either demise positions in Uk, USA etc and transfer them to other project or asks them to move out but those positions will be filled in India or any other country where costs are much lower than the existing.. coming to what you are complaining please share the location details to be accurate and talk the facts
And i have never heard of layoffs at hsbc before. Even if they do who would be at risk? The new hires or the old folks?
