Hi Folks, I am working in infy and planning to drop paper this week. As I don't have offer in hand but 90 days NP impacting to get new job. Also my compansation is not good as per exp. So that is the first reason and no new tech learning and project change happening with me. Also in last cycle they didn't give good rating bcoz i was asking for new project ..??
So is sept is good time to drop paper at infy.... Should I dropped or wait ??

Any ID attorneys get their CPCU? Trying to make myself more marketable as claims counsel or in-house for a carrier (not doing ID).

I just got laid off from my job as a gov contractor because the project I was working on ended. I’m currently a grad student part time and was hoping to work that job until finishing grad school before applying to consulting roles. Should I go ahead and try applying for those roles now since I don’t have a job? Or should I wait since I’m still in school until next May?

As a first time PM at a company with no PM structure, I’m finding it difficult to learn good practices and bring myself to “the next level”. Has anyone here had a similar self taught start that made the break through to become a solid senior PM? Anything will help, books, etc.

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" I got offer from NatWest Chennai location . My skills set is project management 13 years experience. They have mentioned in my offer letter B7 corporate title is associate. When I ask to hr guy he said it is equal to Manager level. But title will change department department. Is it true? B7 is manager role ? What is CDIO department in Natwest. Please clear my doubts

Is there any realistic way where tipping in the US goes away and we start to be like other countries (e.g. Europe/Asia)? Raise the price of the food, pay servers a fair wage, no tips? Just a dream 😅

I'm guessing no because businesses will fight hard against this (customers subsidize wages) and certain servers benefit from tipping as well.

Only other thing I can think of is if everyone collectively decides not to ever tip again and it forces business to change. Won't happen though.

Constantly worried I’m going to get fired because I don’t know where I stand at my mid sized law firm (second year associate).

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?

My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself.
