In public? Yes. In private? I would say no.
This is correct.
Your own private prayers are your business.
If you’re going to loudly announce that you’re praying for someone in a public place, you should have their approval.
Always! It’s a best practice because not everyone believes in a higher power.
That’s a reason to pray for them, not against.
Always. Even if they were Christians.
In private? Nope, I will pray for them regardless. In public, yes , must have permission , unless you’re performing an exorcism or something, or in a unique circumstance
