Do you ever regret choosing a career in consulting?

How is it like to be product manager for nps prism? Is it a good learning curve or just a mundane dashboard maintenance? And what about the working hours and pay?

Can someone suggest good material for full stack web developer and any platform to learn and get good real life experience

My company is giving me a reimbursement while I go to school. It’s capped to induce me to study part time. I decided to go full time. Pay the difference out of pocket so I can graduate quicker. I have been working as a manufacturing engineer tech for 4 years without a degree but this May I will get my bachelors in Mechanical Eng. Currently making 63k a year, hourly. What should I ask for when I graduate? Living in Southern Pennsylvania.

Anyone ever considered contractor gig in Meta/Facebook or any other big players in tech? I'm full-time in a smaller company and it's pretty stable. Wondering if the move could be worthwhile. Mostly want to explore other areas. Other things to consider: planning for babies in the next 3-5 years; maternity leave in current position is basically what's legally required.

What is the learning curve/different expectations for an attorney versus a CPA in a first year associate role? I just started, but a bit confused on how I can best contribute my legal skills and anxious about not being an expert on accounting principles.

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.

This isn’t really an interview question but more of an on-boarding question.
Bit of background- I left my job of 3 years in Dec 2021 for a new company. Initially, I thought the company was great but my mind quickly changed. The on-boarding process was horrible, minimal training, thrown onto enterprise project 2 weeks in, over time, and there is no process for anything. I ended up hating my job.

Fast forward to Mid March, I started applying for jobs again but I omitted this role.

Has an ALM in Management at Harvard Extension School led you to a career at any high power corporations such as Goldman Sachs?

Hello, I have 4 years of experience between Financial decision support and pricing. However, I feel like my experience is too narrowed to how my current company operates. I am looking to pivot into consulting at one of the big4 ( for ~2-3 years)or any other consulting firm to have a well rounded experience that could be applicable to any industry. 1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.

Looking to get into privacy law at a Fortune 100. Have a JD/MBA and working in the healthcare area for the past 10 years. Any tips on how to break in.

Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!
