I stepped into leadership and haven’t looked back. It was a struggle at first, but now I couldn’t imagine not doing it. Getting to support others in doing their best work has been really rewarding. Do you think you’ll ever want to move into a leadership role? I know not every workplace is supportive, and that can make it much harder to do the job well.

How was your experience going into leadership?
IC all the way for me. I don't have any interest in dealing with the responsibility of managing other people. I'm too introverted for it to appeal to me in any way, shape or form. No shade to the people who do, I'm sure it's even more difficult than I'm imagining it to be. It's just something I know I wouldn't excel at.

I have been a supervisor, while I loved my staff it was the upper management that made it not desirable. I like working directly with clients and my coworkers.

Ahhh upper management really does make or break the experience I hear
