Name the bank.
If your bank still needs travel notices in 2025, switch banks. It’s not your job to do their fraud prevention work—and any financial institution that freezes your card abroad is useless.
I've not had issues. I think 2 or 3 years ago when I called to make sure my card got locked they told me to not even bother.
My bank app allows me to flag that I am traveling in my account settings - but yes this is always a good thing to follow up on, trying to call customer service in a foreign country can be expensive and problematic.
