Oh my stress definitely shows at work. My coworkers can always tell when I am stressed and will usually try to talk me off the ledge. I try not to let it show but it definitely does.

Same here! It’s awesome that your coworkers notice and have your back. That kind of support makes all the difference.

I think people now know when I’m stressed as I go really quiet. When I first joined, they definitely thought i was just really chilled ahaha, total opposite :D
Rising Star
Haha I get that! The quiet ones are usually just trying to keep it together 😅

I didn’t even realize how stressed I’ve been from work until someone in my personal life asked me for help and I almost lost my marbles. I’ve been trying to set better boundaries with people at work and it’s been helping. Sometimes it’s not about maintaining a poker face but reducing stressors where you can.

That’s such great self-awareness! Setting boundaries really does make a difference. Totally agree, it’s not always about hiding the stress but managing what causes it.

Still haven't mastered yet but I'm close. One trick is to come to the realization that nobody else actually cares about you, and as a result, you shouldn't necessarily care about them. Be nice, yes, but keep expectations low and you won't be disappointed or overly stressed.
Rising Star
That’s actually a really grounded way to look at it. Keeping expectations realistic while still being kind makes a huge difference.
