I like my job is just dont like the quantity in which I do it. I generally find my work interesting and like the folks I work with. If it was a 8:30-6 id do it forever
I’ve always said this. Totally agree. Also the false deadlines.

I like it because it keeps me busy. I would be pretty bored otherwise. I should pick up some hobbies and leave this toxic environment
I find the people who like this job usually don’t have kids and/or significant non-work hobbies. I don’t mean that in an insulting way either. But my peers who like the job basically just say they get bored when they’re slow, which would never happen to me lol. I can easily fill my time with non-work stuff and be happy as a clam. I’ve never wished I was working lol.
I get paid great money to do interesting work with people I generally like. At times it is a lot of work, but rarely to the extent it significantly impacts the rest of my life.
I still travel, see friends, spend time with my wife, etc., and all those things are easier with the money the job provides.
A16, waking up early is the big thing. It feels a lot more manageable to wake up at 6, workout, and get to work so you can be done by 7pm than to wake up at 9, not workout, and work until 10pm.

Idk if I like this job but I’ve done much worse jobs for much worse pay so I’m sticking this out until I literally get sick of it or they fire me.
I like the money. Only psychopaths like this job.
We all go a little mad sometimes
I like this job because it gives me meaning, my bank account balance goes up every two weeks and I get an excuse to ignore my wife, family and loved ones
It’s given me financial stability at a relatively young age. Doesn’t necessarily have to be forever, but grateful for the life it’s given me so far.
This. Otherwise it just sucks.
I really enjoy going to work everyday. It’s like everyone is saying, the VOLUME is what kills me. I like being proactive in my cases instead of constantly putting out fires.
I really like it. The work is endlessly interesting and I genuinely really like the vast majority of people I work with. It’s hard, but ultimately I feel lucky.
Litigation! It’s always different and I’m a bit nerdy for the law (as are all litigators who are miserable)

I used to, but litigation is super stressful. As you get older, it wears on you.
Now that I got a massive pay bump the 💰
The practice area I’ve always found interesting.
People are always hit or miss.
Not in finance or M&A. I’m in a specialist practice that stands on its own but also does work with M&A and finance, PF, and PE.
