Does anyone else ever go to apply to a job here on Glassdoor or Indeed with your ready prepared cover letter and resume only for the app to go around in circles like its stuck, never to actually send your resume? This doesn't happen to me often, but it does on occassion and its quite frustrating since I just spent time on the CV and resume and now it won't go through. I tried going directly to the company's website but they don't have a career page to apply through.

Anyone in here have experience with L&D or global ops? I’m trying to pivot career fields and make my way over to Meta. Any info appreciated.

Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?

What is considered to be a “good” salary for IA/SOX work for a first year senior associate in public accounting/industry for HCOL? Looking for a new job and have a few interviews but am not sure what is considered “good” salary for these roles.. I think they have low balled me where I am currently working and am out of touch with reality on how much someone should actually make for these roles (worked for 2 years HCOL IA/SOX role in public accounting and make 66k)

- I didn't get selected in the H1B lottery.
- My company has agreed to send me to their London office for a year (haven't yet filed application).
- OPT ends in late June, so I can stay till mid-late August (grace period).

Question:
Should I just move to London as soon as I'm able to, or is it worth waiting until the end of my OPT in August in case they do a second round of the H1B lottery?

Hi all. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 2 and it’s been hard to heal with the ups and downs of a very competitive sales position in the current market. Before taking FMLA for 12 weeks I was a top performer. Any advice from those that also live with bipolar disorder, or advice on a potentially a less stressful position to ease out of sales? I have 7 years healthcare sales and 1.5 years as a MLO.
