Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?

So a client who brought me on for a rebrand/relaunch has shifted his social media in house to his friend’s 17 year old son. Despite his age, the kid has less than no clue, the posts have typos, I presented some concepts based on certain elements being in place...he ran with them despite those elements not happening...I should sit back and laugh(ok grin). My first experience with a Karen today. I was sitting today in my front yard with my pitbull leashed to a tree. This woman stopped in front of my house and said - as per city ordinance it’s illegal to leash dogs in the front yard and I need to hold the leash and I kid you not threatened to call cops on me. Mind you, my dog was passed tf out and its only fault was being a pitbull that Karen didn’t approve of. I told her ‘Call the cops, I dare you’ and started recording. She walked away grumbling.
